Ignite has launched a new line of gummies and we’re so excited because we know you’ll love them as much as we do. Whether you go for the Cherry, Lemon, or Orange flavor, each gummy delivers 20mg of CBD and the Ignite guarantee that they’re vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and contain 0% THC. They also come in either CBD Isolate or Broad Spectrum for different results.
Hang on a sec. What the hell does CBD Isolate and Broad Spectrum even mean, you might wonder? Before we go into what each one means, let’s take a hot second to talk about cannabinoids.
Cannabinoids are the different and varied compounds found in the cannabis plant. You’re probably already familiar with THC and CBD, but there are literally dozens more found within the different strains of the plant. And here’s where we run into our first crucial nugget of understanding how these different compounds affect us; humans have an endocannabinoid receptor system.
The endocannabinoid receptor system is a system made up of receptors that interact purely with cannabinoids. Take THC and CBD as our examples; you’ll find that THC has psychoactive effects but CBD doesn’t. If you take all the cannabinoids (and their effects) together, you get what we call the cannabinoid spectrum.
When your favorite cannabis companies create a new CBD product, all the cannabinoid content from the plant is extracted via methods like CO2 extraction. That extraction doesn’t just apply to cannabinoids, but the terpenes and flavonoids, too. Once that extraction has taken place, we can then refine that extract even further so it contains only those cannabinoids we want it to. Which leads us to…
CBD Isolate
An isolate is a compound that has literally been isolated from all the others in its space. And CBD isolate is the single-most pure form of CBD – one that’s been stripped of terpenes, flavonoids, and all those other cannabinoids. It’s CBD and nothing else.
Full Spectrum
Even though Ignite CBD gummies don’t fall in the full spectrum category, we still wanted to take a moment to explain what this term means. Full spectrum is when everything found in the plant is used; the terpenes, the cannabinoids, the essential oils – everything. Full spectrum extraction means all those elements are working together to create “the entourage effect.”
Broad Spectrum
Similar to full spectrum, but crucially missing one element: THC. That means no psychoactive high.
Our gummies are made from hemp-derived CBD extract, water, citrus pectin, natural flavor and color, citric acid, malic acid, and sweeteners for added flavor. We recommend you take 1-2 each day, but bear in mind, the exact dose can differ from person to person as every individual is different.
So, now that you have a better idea of what the gummies can do, try both the CBD isolate and broad spectrum versions to see which one you like best. And if you can’t decide which flavor you want, get ‘em all! Ignite gummies; perfectly dosed and impressively delicious.
