All About The New Ignite CBD Gummies

We are stoked about our new CBD gummies. If you’re not familiar with gummy edibles, what they can do, and how they compare to vape pens and drops, then we’ll download you on everything you need to know.

First and foremost, they’re known as gummy edibles because they most resemble small, gummy candies. They currently come in three delicious flavors; cherry, lemon, and orange and yes, they’re called edibles because you eat ‘em!

CBD edibles are usually made by taking the active cannabinoids out of the plant by heating it in oil or butter. From there, the extracted cannabinoids can be cooked into CBD edibles. Each of our gummies contains 20mg of CBD. We recommend 1-2 gummies per day but, again, that depends on the individual. Some side effects of too much CBD may include headache, nausea, fatigue or dry mouth, so please take caution when first starting out.

We’ve come a long way from the “edibles” of the past. Then, most edibles came as ‘pot brownies’ – baked goods with THC that got you baked. Our edibles, on the other hand, are made from CBD so they contain 0% THC (which is the psychoactive cannabinoid that gets you high). That means you’re not limited in what you can do after ingesting one (you can carry about your normal business, working, driving, participating in sports activities, etc.)

Our CBD gummies also come in two types: CBD Isolate and Broad Spectrum. The difference is how many of the plant’s cannabinoids are included in the product along with the CBD. CBD Isolate contains just the CBD and nothing else. Broad Spectrum, however, utilizes a whole bunch of the plant’s cannabinoids and terpenes (although, again, not the THC) which leads to what’s known as an “entourage effect.”

So why pick an edible over a CBD vape pen or CBD oil? They’re easy to dose; you know each edible contains 20mg of CBD so there’s no surprises. Plus they taste good!
